Graphical User Interface for Bioprocess States Visual Analysis

Description: The application serves the identification and the visualisation of multivariable biotechnology processes. It combines the visualisation of process variables in time domain and visualisation of a process trajectory in a 3-dimensional state space of 3 principal components obtained by PCA (Principal Component Analysis) analysis of selected physiological state variables calculated from process data. The process trajectory in the PCA domain can be visualised together with the process data, so that every data point from the process data is linked with the corresponding data point in the PCA state space (with a timestamp). In the application it is also possible to represent a predefined classification of the process data again with linking and projecting of this classification into the PCA state space. The application also allows to define a specific classification based on selected centre points in the PCA state space and to scrutinise this classification by the reverse projection onto the process data in the time domain. Directions for use and application requirements are included in a user guide.

Sample of data from our PHA production cultivations

Description: The data sample from a single PHA production cultivation – Pseudomonas putida – stored in a Microsoft Excel 2003 workbook. The sample includes several important (on-line and off-line) measured and computed variables. Along with the data there are two graphs with time course of these variables in the workbook.
